AS MORE AND MORE GROMS GET SERIOUSLY INTO TRAINING FOR SURFING, ADVANCED SURF FITNESS AUTHOR LEE STANBURY RUNS THOUGH SOME DRY LAND EXERCISES TO BOOST YOUR SKILLS. 

Dry land training is everything you do outside of the water, it might even be school games, PE, or other sports you take part in and cross training can be really beneficial to your surf fitness. The following exercises however are related to the strength mechanics of surfing. For each component, the relevant exercises are described and their mechanical relationship to surfing movements explained.
