New ocean themed design that is donating 4% of each sale to Maldives Whale Shark Research Program which helps with important conservation of these endangered animals.

The lovely people at Indo Board have pledged to donate 4% of each net sale to the Maldives Whale Shark Research Programme (MWSRP).

The MWSRP is a UK and Maldives registered charity that since 2006 has carried out research and grassroots conservation initiatives in the Maldives.

Our work has been behind the creation of the largest marine protected area in the Maldives and a citizen science network through which we’ve recorded over 7000 whale shark encounters and identified over 500 individual whale sharks.

This amazing collective effort has enabled us to track whale shark movements, growth rates and even monitor these amazing yet endangered animal’s recovery from boat strike injuries.

The donation we receive from Indo Board will contribute to our Paid Internship Programme for Maldivian youth, enabling young Maldivians to participate in our work and gain the skills needed to pursue a career in marine conservation.

You’ll find some more information about whale sharks and how you can support our work at MWSRP in with your new board.

So, from MWSRP, a huge thank you for your purchase and we hope you enjoy your Whale Shark Indo Board!"
